Please don’t message me as anon because I’d really prefer to answer questions privately.

I have called the cops, multiple times, he’s found people to state that I’m insane or out of control and that I should be the one that has to be removed.

I went to the cops when we moved here and actually filed a complaint. All it did was make me homeless for a month because he threw me out and the woman’s shelter here could only keep me for so long. When I did go to the cops I was told by several members in his family that they would testify against me should I bring him up on charges. 

I have PTSD and high anxiety and he has always played at that, even going so far as to call the cops on ME after one of his attacks and unfortunately the police believed him.

There’s only so much cops can do, the system is skewed, and it’s never really worked for me or for us.
